Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association Endorses Assemblyman Harper for Re-Election
HUNTINGTON BEACH – Assemblyman Matthew Harper is honored to announce that the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (HJTA) has endorsed him for re-election.
“Matthew Harper has shown strong and constant support for Proposition 13,” said HJTA Chairman Jon Coupal. “He has supported policies in Sacramento that benefit taxpayers and improve our economy.”
The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association was founded in 1978 following the passage of Proposition 13. Their mission is to protect Proposition 13 and taxpayers’ rights, including the right to limited taxation, the right to vote on tax increases and the right of economical, equitable and efficient use of taxpayer dollars. The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association has saved Californians billions of dollars, including passing Proposition 13 which has saved taxpayers more than $528 billion.
