Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC Endorses Matthew Harper for State Assembly

Huntington Beach, CA - Huntington Beach Mayor Matthew Harper announced today that his campaign for the State Assembly has been endorsed by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC (HJTA).
Founded by renowned taxpayer advocates Howard and Estelle Jarvis, HJTA is committed to protecting Proposition 13 and advancing taxpayers rights. It has been estimated that working through the legislature and courts HJTA has saved California taxpayers nearly $58 billion.
“The Howard Jarvis Taxpayer Association endorsement is coveted by all candidates. It is easily one of the most sought after endorsements in the state. I am proud to receive their support,” said Harper.

This endorsement is one of a series that the Matthew Harper for State Assembly campaign has received in the last thirty days.
Huntington Beach is the largest city in the 74TH Assembly District. Other cities include: Costa Mesa, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods and Newport Beach.
Matthew Harper is a graduate of Huntington Beach High School and the University of Southern California. Prior to his election to the city council Matthew served on the Huntington Beach Union High School District Board of Trustees for 12 years. Matthew and his wife Elizabeth are homeowners in Huntington Beach.
